Biography
Becky was a three-time All-Big 12 selection for the Nebraska Cornhuskers from 1995-98 and was named to the All-Big 12 Tournament team following her senior season. Her team also captured three Big 12 tournament titles (1996, ’97, and ’98) while advancing to the NCAA’s Sweet 16 in 1997 and 1998 as well as the Elite 8 in 1996. Hogan also served as a team captain during her senior season.

Following her collegiate career Hogan played professionally for several professional teams including the RushSLC of the Women’s Premier Soccer League, the Boston Breakers of the WUSA, and the Chicago Cobras and Denver Diamonds of the W-League.
​
Hogan has also served as an assistant coach at Idaho State, Winthrop University and at the club and high school levels, heading up the Utah Avalanche and Utah Rush Soccer Clubs as well as the Skyline Eagles women’s soccer program. Most recently she was the head coach at Southern Utah University for 6 years before retiring in 2022 after a 4 year stint as the head coach at the RSL Academy High School.

Coach Hogan earned a degree in English from Nebraska in 1998 and later received a secondary teaching certification from Weber State in 2009. Hogan went on to earn two Master's Degrees from Idaho State University, one in communication and rhetorical studies and one in P.E. and athletic administration. Her third and final Master's Degree is from Western Governors University in Educational Leadership and Administration.

Becky has been a sought after lecturer on the college recruiting process, a youth camp director, and has owned and operated the Vortex Soccer Camp (formerly the SUU summer camp) for 14 years.
